I know I could use more since I came across Karen’s Griska’s blog.  She will be giving away a really neat selvage pillow she made, so keep an eye on her blog.

Selvage quilts

I don’t know why but I really like the look of them.   I don’t have one but I really, really want to make one.  If you aren’t familiar with them, here is a link to Karen Griska’s blog.  If you scroll down the page a little, the “Red Zinger” is on the right.  Here is the link to the “how-to” page and another link for directions to make selvage quilts.  Thanks Karen for sharing this info.

I’m not sure what it is about this quilt but I know that I want one just like it.  As you can imagine, this is going to take lots and lots of selvages.  I have asked a couple of my friends that quilt to save theirs for me.  If you are reading this blog and don’t think you will ever have the urge to make a selvage quilt, please consider saving your edges for me.  I’m willing to pay the postage to have them mailed once you collect a nice bag full.  If you are willing to participate just leave a comment and I’ll get in touch with you.  Thanks for thinking about it.
